Shippensburg University Theatre presents: YONDERSPEAK SHORT PLAY FESTIVAL
The YONDERSPEAK Short Play Festival celebrates the production of short, dramatic works performed in an intimate and minimalist style. The festival hosts a variety of plays from the modern and contemporary repertoire, including new works by some highly engaging writers. We are proud to include in the festival this year an original play called Pagliacci Justice, by Shippensburg University student, Benjamin Greenberg.
YONDERSPEAK celebrates the work of a variety of dramatic writers. This year’s lineup will feature two, more American writers, Kate Hoffower and Eugenie Carabatsos, as well as a selection by the modern, German writer, Bertolt Brecht.
If you crave intellectual stimulation and despair over not finding it in a local theatre, the YONDERSPEAK FESTIVAL will deliver. Every play has been chosen to stimulate your thinking and to engage your imagination.
